In the heart of the Maremma between the Tyrrhenian Sea and Mount Amiata lie the 22 hectares of the Poggio Argentiera winery. Respect for the environment, for the land and a love for great wines make Poggio Argentiera an Italian jewel.

Bellamarsilia -Morellino di Scansano D.O.C.G.

Production area : South Maremma - Grosseto Area

Altitude :  Alberese vineyards at sea level/ Baccinello vineyards 350 meters above sea level

Soil : Albarello area mainly sand and loam/ Baccinello area prevalence of calcareous clays

Grape :  Sangiovese

Harvest : Hand- harvested 

Vinification: Both fermentation and aging in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature

Food pairing : With all courses of meat gives the best with typical dishes of the Maremma    tradition(pappardelle with wild boar sauce,stewed boar,lamb "scottiglia")

Serving temperature : 16/18 °C

Capatosta - Toscana Rosso I.G.T.

Production area : South Maremma - Grosseto Area

Altitude :  Baccinello vineyards 350 meters above sea level

Soil :  Baccinello area prevalence of calcareous clays

Grape :  Sangiovese - Alicante

Harvest : Hand- harvested 

Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.Aging 15        months in medium capacity oak casks,then 15 months in bottle

Food pairing: with all meat dishes(roast lamb,roast/braised veal,Bistecca alla                Fiorentina,pheasant and wild boar)

Serving temperature : 16/18 °C

Poggioraso-Toscana Cabernet Franc I.G.T.

Production area : South Maremma - Grosseto Area

Altitude :  Baccinello vineyards 350 meters above sea level

Soil :  Baccinello area prevalence of calcareous clays

Grape :  Cabernet Franc

Harvest : Hand- harvested 

Vinification: four weeks of fermentation in stainless steel vats to allow a long contact      with the skins

Food pairing : perfect with all the grilled meats, bold strong cheeses

Serving temperature : 16/18 °C
